Khobaib Chowdhury is the founder and the CEO of the Styline. He is a software engineer. Khobaib Chowdhury completed his graduation from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2009.
Styline is one of the top modest fashion and beauty e-commerce-based marketplace in Dhaka. Styline is the first Bangladeshi startup that participated in the Malaysian governments’ “Magic Accelerator Program”. Magic helps it participate and selected a startup financially and give them training also.
To make Styline an establish market place, the journey was not easy. There were a lot of challenges and setbacks. But Khobaib Chowdhury never gives up though there, were a lot of struggles. But today it’s pretty clear and obvious that Mr. Khobaib Chowdhury and Styline have successfully made a mark on the market.
Khobaib Chowdhury launches Styline in 2015 in online but today Styline has physical stores in Bangladesh. Styline opens its first store in Dhaka in 2017 and they are planning to open to more stores. As Styline is the modest retailer in Bangladesh they open their store in the central point of Dhaka. So that customer gets the easy entrance and new customer can visit the store.
This is simple logic if the customer gets familiar with brands and products a trust builds between the customer and the brand. After that, it’s pretty easy to find new customers and also fixed customers as well. And some of the customers who get to know about the brand by visiting the store will transfer as a future online customer.
Khobaib Chowdhury has told that once a customer visits the stores first, they casually become the online customers also, as they have the trust and know about the product quality as well. Styline is a unique online store in Bangladesh and it is growing fast in the fashion industry. This modest online fashion has a unique collection and they are doing great because of their trendy yet modest kinds of stuff.
Styline recently opened its cosmetic line which is organic and halal. Styline’s vision is to set a long-term data-driven culture to lead the online fashion market of Bangladesh. Styline claims that they will be the top modest fashion and organic cosmetic brand within the next 5 years.
Styline just not an online or physical retail store; it also launched a mobile application for iOS and Android. Khobaib Chowdhury plans to expand their market place through the mobile app. Styline also works with the tech team to connect business cases with technology to automate the system. They are offering discounts, promoting adds and making it easy to get exclusive products through this app. Khobaib also linking with beauty parlors, salons and stylized so that the customers get all these easily through this app. Customers can book appointments through this app based on their geographic location.
Khobaib Chowdhury is focusing on expanding its market place globally and one-stop-shop for the customers through its app and online store. Styline collection has that potential to achieve their goal and to make a bright future in this e-commerce platform.
